Third Grade Supply List for Mrs. Klamm's Class
1. Supplies Box (otherwise referred to as a pencil box, but this box needs to be big enough to store all their supplies that are kept in their desk)
2. Colored Pencils (the new "Twistable" kind look fun and are welcomed!) Also your child will need a pencil sharpener with a lid to sharpen these. (The electric pencil sharpeners get clogged up an burn out sharpening colored pencils, hence the need for the sharpener...lid required for catching all the little shaving so they don't land on the floor...custodians appreciate this!!)
3. Color Crayons (NO bigger than a 24 pack please) "Twistables" are fine too!
4. Markers -Crayola makes a fine tip kind and regular kind, both would be great but that is up to you as parents...must have a least one kind. These have to fit in the supply box, so I discourage buying the super big marker pack.)
5. Glue Sticks- two big ones or four little ones, just one needs to be in the pencil box at a time.
6. Bottle of Glue - some art projects need glue instead of glue sticks. (I have found that Elemer's works best but it is up to you)
7. Sharpened Pencils (plan on 12 for now and just put a couple in the supply box)
8. One Pair of Scissors
9. Erasers-either pencil top or the big pink eraser (either or both are just fine)
10. Back Pack Each day your child is going to bring a binder home, please be sure that the back pack your child selects is large enough to store a 1 inch binder inside comfortably along with their lunch boxes, winter gloves, etc.
11. Pack of Stickers (let your child pick which kind, I am sure they will find the "COOL" kind)
12. Boys are asked to bring a box of Kleenex for class to use
Girls are asked to bring Ziplock Baggies (either quart size or gallon size for class to use)
***OPTIONAL If your child would like their own stylus for the iPad they are welcomed to do so...I will have one for them.
